Our task consisted of building the whole tailor-made team of over 20 people from scratch. We had to cherry-pick the best specialists that would meet the customer’s expectations in terms of software development skills in the field of microservices, web, mobile app development, and testing.
Team members working at different levels and positions.
Team members using various types of technology.
Adapting the customer to the new recruitment market in terms of legal and tax-related issues.
Making sure that we and the client are on the same page when it comes to the technical experience.

The team to recruit
As we have already mentioned, the customer entrusted us with the task of recruiting a team of 21 members consisting of:
Golang, Postgres, MySQL, GRPC and Kafka, REST, GRPC and HTTP, Grafana, ELK stack, datadog, TDD with at least 5 years of work experience.

AWS, Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, or Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab, infrastructure as code with at least 5 years of work experience.
React, TypeScript, Cypress/Selenium with 3-4 years of work experience.
With an excellent grasp of Flutter and Realm database with 3-5 years of work experience.
If you are reading this case study, it means that we have successfully managed to meet the customer’s expectations and, as a result of a thorough recruitment process, formed a tailor-made team of 21 experts in the area of software development – all of them with the required skills and the ability to work according to a specific methodology. The important question that needs to be answered is:
How did we manage to do it?
Firstly, we have carefully developed and designed the whole path of the recruitment process: starting from creating a profile of the perfect candidate, then headhunting potential employees matching the profile, and, finally, conducting an introductory interview.
It consists of several stages:
The interview based on questions prepared by a developer.
Where a candidate’s knowledge is evaluated by one of the Hireone experts accompanied by a homework test that is a jumping-off point for the interview with our expert.
As a result,
the customer received a set of carefully selected potential team members whose technical and linguistic abilities had been verified thoroughly.
If we were to create a Road Map of the whole process, it would be split into 7 stages:
Agreeing on terms and conditions and signing the contract
Project onboarding (collecting detailed information about different jobs)
Project implementation – the customer received the first candidates
The most important positions were filled
Checking with the customer whether we were moving in the right direction
The remaining positions were filled
